François victor josé johannès bazin, known as françois bazin, is one of the most important french sculptors and medalists of the early 20th saw. Born in paris in 1897, and died in 1956. In 1913, he studied at the école des arts décoratifs and the école nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in paris.
