Ancient Chinese basket of braided wicker, closure system and brass handles. Beautiful finesse of the work. In the past, this basket contained a porcelain tea ware. A corner is missing on the brass plate used to close the basket. Some reddish marks inside the basket. Flawless braiding. As charming as it is original.
