Storage cabinet 5 drawers, circa 70

Vintage storage cabinet / high chest of drawers, around the 70s. This classic design piece is made of pvc (thermoformable plastic.) The room has a sleek design with fantastic ergonomic handles typical of the time (see photos.) The cabinet structure has a white finish, with 3 orange drawers and 2 white drawers, each measuring to: h: 12.5 cm X w: 32 cm X d: 25 cm. Downstairs there is a storage compartment with a door that opens and closes properly, measuring to: h: 44 cm X w: 37 cm X d: 25 cm. Inside, there is an adjustable transparent plastic shelf in the middle (not original) and two additional brown side compartments inside the door, both original to the piece (see photos.) This particular configuration is somewhat atypical, as pieces like this were more frequently found with only 3 or 4 drawers. Technically, this piece of furniture is "modular", (meaning that individual parts can be slipped or moved), and anyone who bought it at the time, could have it made to order according to their personal tastes or storage needs. It is sold only in this current configuration. It will not be disassembled or reconfigured. The piece is in good general condition, original and vintage. There are some signs and marks of age and previous use proportionate to time, on the general structure, top, face of drawers and side panels (see photos), inside drawers (see photos), as well as the patina of time / faded color areas on the hinges and inside the pocket tray (see photos), some areas with a slight natural yellowing with age on the plastic, all this is normal for a room of this age.
