Old painting dahlias

This large painting from the 1960s presents a bouquet of dahlias with austere colors, rather square lines despite the curves of flowers and vase. This austerity strips this classic subject of all gloom and enshrines it in modernity, supported in this by the bottle to the left of the vase that breaks the symmetry. All this gives him character, a strong presence and a little family air with dubuffet. Oil on canvas, signed "botti." painting in perfect condition, under glass and very nicely framed.
