Richard Schultz's desk for Knoll International - wood & chromed metal - 1963

Beautiful management office designed by the huge American designer Richard Schultz and published by Knoll International USA in 1963. This large-scale office is a real nugget of Knoll. Its manufacture is of very high quality. Made of dark plum-brown wood, it boasts minimalist lines reminiscent of the modernist style. These minimalist lines further enhance the use of chrome metal. Indeed, there is a beautiful contrast between the hue of the wood and the chrome aspect of the structure but also on the tray. This desk has two shelves, one of which is made of glass on the right, and 3 drawers, including a large box compartmentalized to the right. The desk is slightly varnished. Perfect combination with the Knoll USA coffee table by Richard Schultz of the same color and the pair of Giulio Marelli armchairs chinated at Paris airport.
