Rare item! Large-format triptych mirror (1m51 height), luxury mirror Brot. 1930s. Inventor of the triptych mirror (in 1875) and illuminating magnifying mirrors (in 1927), the parisian Brot shimmer specializes in luxury shimmer. This magnificent triptych of amazing dimensions impresses with its presence, its quality, and the rendering brought. Placed in a living room, it brings a superb perspective, flat against the wall, or slightly tilted flaps. Each mirror weighs about 30 kg, and is nearly one cm thick. The central part of the triptych attaches to the wall. Both flaps can fall back to the center part, or be unfolded against the wall. The fabric on the back of the mirrors was completely redone, to "refresh" the whole. Beautiful patina of framing metal. The finishes are very clean, hinges worked, marking brot, etc. One of the mirrors is particularly marked by time and has traces on the tin. Although visible, these traces bring all the charm to the object, which can only be found on the old mirrors, and bear witness to the eras traversed by this collector's item.
