Miniature portrait of a man in oil-on-wood bust by L.Dugardin at the end of the 19th century

Portrait in miniature of a man in bust late nineteenth century. Oil on wood (14.2 cm high and 9.6 cm wide) on a photographed portrait. Miniature signed dugardin in the inf. Right corner. Inked stamp of the artist on the back l.dugardin. Ancient handwritten note on the back (probably the surname of the man depicted). This portrait was made from a photographed portrait mounted on the panel and then retouched (except the face) by the artist l.dugardin (probably louise dugardin). The painting has some use in places (see photos and zoom).
