Art Deco armchair in Rosewood veneer from Rio

Rio rosewood veneer armchair with two shoulders. The backrest and the back foot are in a single concave pillar. The circular seat is made of leather. Art deco era. The symmetrical style without right angles of this chair reflects the sensual style of art deco of the 1930s. The craftsmen work with simple and geometric shapes, here the circle, inspired by cubism. On the other hand, the use of exotic wood shows the new interest in exoticism and the desire to create rich objects in an industrial way.
