Jens Quistgaard's champagne or teak ice bucket for Dansk

Large teak model of the sculptural ice seal designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard for Dansk design in the 1950s, orange-coloured abs (plastic) interior, clean and in good condition. A clean line and impeccable manufacturing care for a truly iconic piece of danish design. Editor's stamp and designer initials present under the base. A few micro bursts and a small discoloration are to be noted (all photographed, scrolling the images), which are very little seen. Documented in "scandinavian design" Charlotte and Peter Fiell at Taschen editions. The last photo of the description reproduces a dansk advertisement from 1959. Height: 49 cm, diameter: 23 cm, weight: 3.5 kg.
