Description
This small cabinet is a ko dansu, furniture frequently used by traders in the nineteenth century to preserve correspondence, accounting. The two central drawers are slightly recessed, formerly a closure came to block them. Its discreet size makes it possible to place it in any interior. Meiji era. Second half nineteenth. Oxidation of fittings, small gaps - wear, scratches, shocks, small splinter at the back, discolorations - the lock does not work, and no longer has its key.
