Antique seau biscuit porcelain silver metal doulton burslem 1891 robert allen

Superb hand-painted porcelain cookie bucket decorated with carnations, enhanced with gilding. The cove and lid are made of silver metal (presence of english punches under the lid). Refined and very rare piece, marked with the stamp of the manufacture royale doulton burslem england (brand used from 1891 to 1901). Signed and numbered ra2588 in black ink, piece released from the studios at the time of robert allen accompanied by his artists.
