Ancient black stone mortar

Old black stone mortar from the city of fréjus (it was little used since it was exhibited in a small museum that closed its doors...). In superb condition for its age (eighteenth century?), some stripes in the unique background. No lack or crack is present in the stone. Sold with its old wooden pestle, (presence of a slot in the wood see in photo). Beautiful white details in the black stone are visible, such as a white vein that runs through it (or even in a photo). Unique object, excellent quality, favorite! (particularly neat shipment for this item) H14 X w23 X d18, 5cm. Approx. 4kg.
