Metal and travertine coffee table – 80s

Very nice table in lacquered metal plum / eggplant color and light travertine top. The lines of this table are quite typical of the 80s, showing a robust and simple architecture. The tray is slightly raised compared to the metal base, thanks to the supports that hold the tray. This configuration makes it possible to lighten the lines and to highlight, through this presentation, the beautiful quality of travertine. The travertine has been cleaned and revarnished (varnish very slightly satin). This varnish ennobled this travertine, leaving it to merge with marble.
