Victorian hand dyed buttoned leather ottoman

Circa 1860. This top quality ottoman is upholstered in a hand dyed cigar brown leather, dyed in the traditional method to create a rich unique colour. With deep buttoned lid and concave shaped sides. The edges are brass studded and there is oak show wood at the bottom with bun feet. The inside is lined with a black fabric, and offers a good amount of storage.
