Elephant cherrywood Eames Chair

The elephant plywood is made of plywood with veneer in American cherry. This elephant is intended mainly for decorative purposes, although he can also operate as a high chair the elephant to a 1945 design, but is newly produced by Vitra. This elephant is new and comes with a nice box. Each elephant is unique and has its own beautiful drawing in the Woods. In the 1940s, Charles and Ray Eames spent years working to development and improvement of a three dimensional plywood bending technique. Little by little, they designed a series of furniture and sculptures. All of these original drawings, the elephant in both parties was the biggest technical challenge in connection with multiple bends. The process was too expensive and the elephant never entered serial production. This changed in the winter of 2017.
