Duo of brass dog statuettes

Very beautiful and large pair of brass statuettes representing dogs. These racy dogs have a very distinguished look. Muscles are well drawn. Graphic motifs engraved in the structure enhance these statues. The brass is beautifully patinated by time, with green details of grey. In very nice condition, signatures under the bodies of dogs. Provenance unknown. Was part of an important collection of a bourgeois house. Very heavy statues. - Total dimensions - l 44 X p 12 X h 36 cm.
