Elephant planter in Terracotta Barbotine Majolica XIX th

Extraordinary and extremely rare elephant in dabbling from the end of the XIX th to the effigy of the sacred animals of india to the era of the maharajas. It is a very large and beautiful model, which must certainly have had a top lid or a zinc tray acting as a planter. I had never met such a subject until now! Note: a missing defense and 3 splinters present on the base of its paws.
