We passionately love old scales, butchers, grocers. These beautiful antique objects give an incomparable cachet in a kitchen of retro or industrial inspiration. We are pleased to present this model which is a bit of a five-legged sheep because it is rare to find it in our countries. It is an ohaus havard trip scale whose first marketing dates from 1912 in the united states. (this model precisely). We owe it to gustav and karl ohaus german technicians who founded the ohaus corporation in 1907 in new jersey. The company still exists and remains the reference in the field. It is a precision stainless steel scale that was reserved for professionals. They used these easy-to-use models of optimal precision, in laboratories, pharmaceutical companies. The model we offer is in very good condition. It was marketed by marcel pinson, a parisian specialist in weighing devices in the 60s. This is indicated on one of the beautiful black plates visible on the front and which give even more character to the object. This mechanical scale with its wonderful patina and exceptional condition is undeniably an object that will not be found in all decorations. And its much smaller size than traditional scales makes it possible to find a place of choice even in a small kitchen. Height: 23 cm. Length: 35 cm. Width: 15 cm. Diameter of the trays: 15 cm. Weight: 2 kg.
