Vintage desk lamp model 144 by Hala Zeist

The original design of this Hala Zeist table lamp dates back to the 1930s. It was designed by the company's founder, Herman Busquet. Bauhaus design at its best. The first editions of these lamps have the switch on/off in the standing arm, for later editions this was replaced by a switch in the wiring. This is one of the first editions, of the 1960s. Testament to this well-designed lamp is that it is still going on today. This particular lamp has been re-stressed by myself. I chose the mint green color, which was actually an original color for this lamp in the past. The wiring and switch have also been renewed. A few small bumps in the shade of the side lamp, it is in very good condition and ready for another 50 years. Size: Height: 45 centimeters (18 ") Diameter lampshade: 30 centimeters (12 ") E27 sleeve, for lamps up to 60W.
