Gilded bronze pendulum from the mid-nineteenth century

Very beautiful chiseled bronze clock, gilded and patinated (2 tones) from france and dating from the mid-nineteenth century. Representing a gentleman poet, stylus and book in hand, in full reflection sitting on his rock. Base decorated with palmettes, shells, acanthus leaves, florets and rockery style movements. The dial is signed but the signature is illegible. Size: Height: 45 cm. Width: 31 cm. Depth: 12 cm. The clock is in good general condition with some traces of wear (see photos), to mention lacks the back wall and part of the mechanism (key, balance, bell, ...) and it is therefore to be restored. The clock will be delivered in appropriate packaging.
