Superb little chest of drawers called jumper in natural wood of louis XVI period. This chest of drawers high on legs is worked in cherry. Knots and veining of the wood, coupled with the slightly varnished natural patina are really beautiful. It opens to two drawers on the front. Sober and elegant, this chest of drawers offers rare and harmonious proportions. This chest of drawers is adorned with beautiful, beautifully chiseled bronzes as well as gilded brass galleries. The studs with cut sides are typical of the louis XVI style. Finally this chest of drawers rests on 4 rectangular feet, the front two of which are dressed in bronze hoofs.
