Big Tulip chair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, 1960s

Very rare first edition of the "big tulip" chair, low edition. Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1959 for Artifort. Newly upholstered with the famous high quality pierre frey wool fabric. Exceptional condition. This model remains one of the best known of the pierre paulin's work. Molded and pressed wooden shells, chromed steel base with four branches. This is a very comfortable chair!.
