Pauline Bonaparte's hand mirror 27x13cm

Rare hand mirror attributed to Pauline Bonaparte. The duchess of guastalla's exquisite taste for elegance can be found in this luxurious mirror. The original mirror is perfectly preserved, the back covered with a burgundy marbled coating. The gilded and chiseled bronze handle is shaped like an antique draped sphynge. The frame is decorated with a frieze of sunflower flowers alternating with oak leaves. The very fine carselure brings to this mirror another brand of prestige. This refinement characterizes parisian luxury items sold in the shops of the palais-royal. Item in perfect condition, no accidents. Dimensions: length 27 cm X diameter 12.3 cm. First empire era. Circa 1806.
