Bed-enclosed façade and its trunk

19th century breton walled bed façade, richly worked, with its chest adorned with gold studs. Origin: st pol de leon region in the côtes d'armor. Dimensions: h - 220cm, l - 180cm. A mirror was added in place of the opening that allowed entry into the enclosed bed. A few small screw holes (easily refillable) because pads were attached to it when this piece was used in a doctor's waiting room. (patients hung their clothes on and sat on the trunk!).
