Set of 2 table lamps designed by famous Angelo Lelli for Arredoluce in 1960s. Lamps are rare and highly collectible. Angelo Lelli was the founder of lighting company arredoluce and he is util today one of the most influential italian designers, a key figure in lighting design. Many of his designs are nowadays highly sought after on the vintage market. Arredoluce’s vanguard collections ranged from table and floor lamps to sconces and chandeliers, developed in collaboration with design luminaries like Franco Albini, Achille and Pier Castiglioni, Vico Magistretti, Gio Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, Mario Tedeschi, and Nanda Vigo. The company’s modernist sensibilities were expressed in minimalist forms that took advantage of new technologies, often featuring articulated arms and directional shades. These lamps feature an ivory white lacquered metal diffuser on a steel base, with an adjustable beam direction. The position of the diffuser can be adjusted in 3 different ways. The height of the lamp depends on the positioning. H 25 cm X w 8 cm X d 25 cm. E14 lamp socket. Lamps are in very good original condition, fully functional and with original wiring. One of the lamps has some scratches and small areas of loss of paint (see the detailed photo), and the other one has a small dent marked with red arrow on one of the detailed photos.
