Nice press fashion illustration by Guy Laroche- period - late 80s (Autumn Collection - Winter 1988/1989). This is an illustration with the signature of the famous couturier. Colors: black and white. In the upper left corner is: "Guy Laroche - autumn - winter 1988-/1989". Format: 21 cm x 29.7 cm. cardboard paper. Excellent condition! This sketch is really beautiful and framed it will simply be beautiful! Important: This is a print (not an original): these copies were given at the time to the upscale customers during the new fashion collections. More photos on request! Biography: Guy Laroche is a French fashion designer and fashion designer, born on July 16, 1921 in La Rochelle and died on February 17, 1989 in Paris. In 1957, he founded his fashion house in Paris and designed his first haute couture collection. its influence is marked in particular by the taste for bright colours, embroidery and daring shapes. Guy Laroche's desire is above all to free the woman's body by offering collections of comfortable and mysterious clothes. He wants to modernize haute couture and adapt it to his time. Very quickly, he became noticed by the women's wear daily thanks in particular to his dresses "balls" as well as his "surprise back". In 1961, on Avenue Montaigne, he broadcast his first ready-to-wear collection under the Laroche diffusion label. in collaboration with the L'Oréal group, a perfume license was developed in 1965. the best known are the black drakkar male (1982) and the Fijian feminine (1966). In 1972, he created the mythical backless dress worn by Mireille Darc in "The big blond with a black shoe". in 2005, Mireille Darc put on sale many outfits worn during her shoots, with the exception of this dress, donated to the Louvre Museum. "I couldn't bear to see another pair of buttocks in it!" said the actress... In 1982, he created the costumes for André Roussin's play "When the Child Appears" at the Variety Theatre in Paris.
