Original first edition Fountain gold Springfontein ceiling light, designed by French architect Bertrand Balas and manufactured by Raak, Amsterdam in the early 1970 s. 2 sizes were orginally produced, this is the larger 35cm diameter version. Superb light effect with light swirling up and being concentrated down at the same time. In good vintage condition, no. damage original. Original dark grey outer finish, white and chrome interior. Some light signs of wear as pictured. Original ceiling fixing with maker's mark. Takes standard screw fit bulb. Dimensions (cm); 35W
