Art Deco oak entrance door 214x88,5cm

Old entrance door in solid oak 214 cm high by 88.5cm wide, pushing straight with a glass panel opening in the upper part and its wrought iron grid. Of an atypical model, this solid and massive door of the early twentieth century in natural oak, molded and paneled presents in the upper part an opening receiving a glass with cut sides and a wrought iron grid decorated with geometric shapes characteristic of the 1930s, unique work completely artisanal. On its outer face with two large slender panels with high relief, it is equipped with its central art deco handle (its 3 hinges with cut sides) and 3 lock entrances. A restoration (graft) of the wood is visible on the pillar at the level of the lock. The main lock that has its key needs to be revised. Regarding the inner side, there are 2 locks as well as the lock and a lock closing the top frame (which supports the glass). This opening oak frame has been redone to the model (mortise tenon, pegged) and allows to open and ventilate safely. By choice the glass not present has not been replaced, so you have the possibility to put a glass more or less thick, colored, translucent or decorated, at your convenience. We also have on this inner side the trace of an old lock and a handle. This door which has been well sheltered and protected by a canopy (since its installation) is in superb state of conservation! (angle at the bottom right very slightly damaged visible on the last 2 photos). It has been completely cleaned and rid of its old varnish, we have chosen to offer it raw and ready to be regreened or painted according to your desires. It weighs nearly 45 kg, the thickness is 3.2 cm (not counting the frame for the glass or the thickness of the panels on the outer part).
