René Gabriel Chairs 1945

Back to the 40s with this batch of 4 chairs! In the post-war period, with this EMC model commissioned in 1945 by the Ministry of Reconstruction and Urban Planning from the French designer René Gabriel in order to refurnish the victims of the war. A lasured beech wood structure, a 3-bar open back, a wooden seat with a red leather-like coating and carpet nails, a straight foot at the front and curved at the back, a stamp marked on fire. A little piece of history at home! Good condition. Minimal wear. H: 45 / 80 cm L: 43 cm P: 42 cm
