A stunningly executed mid century floral still life, painted in oil in a cubist manner. The artist has flattened all the elements, breaking the objects down into distinct planes of colour, where angular forms merge together to give the illusion of depth and three dimensional form. A rich and vibrant colour palette has been used to create this very striking painting. This unfussy but brilliantly executed cubist still life is housed in its original mid century light wood frame with an inner linen lined border, which suits the painting beautifully.
