Set of 2 Round Metal Opaline Glass Wall Light Sconces, red yellow, Italy, 1960s

Article: Wall lights sconces with opal glass shades. Origin: Italy. Age: 1960s. Description: Set of two original 1960s modernist italian wall lights made of solid metal in red and yellow lacquer tone and opal glass elements in the middle. The front plates seems to be lacquerd in red later, several years ago, as the backside is yellow, which seems to be the original overall color. Also underneath the glass yellow lacquer spots are still visible. Each light has a e27 light socket for bulbs, the bulbs are covered by opal shades what creates a nice indirect light atmosphere. The shades are screwed on the wall fixing element with there screws (visible on one of the images). The origin of these lights is italy, and remembers in the style and design of stilnovo and gio ponti. Dimension: Depth 10cm. Diameter 29cm. Condition: Good vintage condition, some normal traces of use, full working. Front plate later red lacquered.
