Porte revues anglais en acajou blond, opening in front by a felling at the crown decoration with a ribbon. This colourful marquetry, against a darker mahogany background, is framed by a discreet thread and a moulded baguette. This panel, with a handle of beaded friezes, is operated by a simple metal system accessible by the left side. He discovered a binder with three compartments 23 to 27 cm deep, designed for storing newspapers or various magazines. Inside is an engraved plaque, "rec trademark", "reliability", a guarantee of reliability of the manufacturer of this english furniture. This porte revues also acts as a tabouret, which gives it an undeniable advantage and adds to its functionality. Indeed, its seat, removable, is covered with a velvet fabric of period predominantly green. It is bordered on the sides by two turned bars embedded in the studs, thus serving as small low armrests. The set rests on four chippendale feet. Period: 1900 / 1920. Structure in perfect condition after restoration in our workshop, seating fabric in a state of use. Ref: 271 r.
