Sewing box worker seamstress revisited

If you like the idea of having saved an object, then this sewing box may be for you! She was indeed on her way to the dump, but I couldn't bring myself to do nothing! I adopted her and pampered her, she required a lot of work to hope for a second life. It was entirely covered with a hideous white paint that I scraped at best with the spatula (for hours!), there are also remains embedded everywhere in the veining of the wood, it gives it a particular appearance, we like or we do not like; ) I like it! It was missing several pieces, and several others were very damaged. So I repaired it and decided to paint all the parts that have undergone repair. So one of the side bars that allows folding/unfolding was broken (i repaired it and painted it yellow), a "planchette" was absent (replaced and painted yellow), I added thin boards inside to close the holes left by the absence of the feet. The top flaps were also damaged, I did my best to repair, using wood pulp, then sanding, and finally a decoration with mustard yellow and black paint and a light layer of varnish to hide a little the irregularities that remain. I also repainted the inside of a locker in gray to hide an old paint drip. It obviously remains full of other small defects due to its age, stains and various marks, but it is functional again and left for beautiful years. It has a nice vintage design, all rounded and simple that recalls the scandinavian style, it may date from the 50s or a little after. Closed it measures 50 cm in length, 25 cm in width, 24 cm in height for the box and 36 cm in height with the handle. It weighs about 4 kg.
