Description
A spoon in the morning... A spoon in the evening! Superb large jar / bottle / pharmacy bottle of the nineteenth century in blown glass, thick, blue, closed by a lid in painted sheet metal color "faux-bois marbré". Label in paris porcelain (with fine gold borders) glued to gum arabic with inscription " lime biphosphate ". Obtained from the ashes of animal bones, it was in the 19th and 20th century administered as a solution to fight scrofules, general debility, softening, bone decay, bronchitis, tuberculous phthisis and other inveterate cathars... Under the base, original label with inscription: tissier paris etiquette porcelain patented s.g.d.g. For (without government guarantee). Diameter opening 3.5 cm, diameter base 8.2 cm, height 21.5 cm. The mark of the pontil and the presence of bubbles attest to its age.
