60's rattan plant holder

Rattan plant holder consists of four feet of curved rattan, a round wood bottom, a flared container formed by several rattan rods and a handle of the same material facilitating its grip and movement. In good general condition since no rattan is broken and no link is missing, we have completely waxed this small dark wood piece to erase all traces of moisture while leaving it its authentic patina. Historically, this small rattan piece used to serve as a wool ball service for knitting: pass the thread between the rattan rods and the coil scrolls as the knitting. Today, use it as a basket or bannette but also as a support for your houseplants. Aperture diameter, d29 cm.
