The beni m'guild rug comes from a large berber tribe that used to be called the aït oumalou. These are thick carpets that have been designed to protect against the harsh winters and cold climate of the mountains of the moroccan middle atlas. It is characterized by the use of a set of geometric patterns. There are tribal symbols woven on a colorful base. It is the expression of the berber woman's creativity transmitted in a carpet, combining all her intuitions as well as her skills and techniques that she acquired after many years of work in order to create such a precious masterpiece. Weavers use pure, healthy wool as a raw material to weave this style of carpet. The diversity of these carpets is extraordinary and will perfectly complement any type of furniture.
