Panthella floor lamp by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen 1970. He wanted to create a lamp where both the stand and the shade function as a reflector for the light. One of his most popular designs up to this day. White acrylic hemispherical shade. Trumpet-shaped base with beige coloured plastic top and bottom and white metal stem. This is an old model with an on/off switch located in the foot of the lamp. Requires e27 bulb. Continental europe plug. Very good vintage condition. There are few small harline cracks on the top of the shade. Small chip on the top part of the base. The lamp has been repaired in the past - the original acrylic post supporting the shade has broke off and been replaced by a more sturdy metal one. Dimentions: Lamp height: 130cm (51.2") Shade height: 25cm (9.8") Shade diameter: 50cm (19.7") Base diameter: 35cm (13.8") Wiring is original, it has been checked and tested and is in good working condition. We recommend that any electrical item is tested by a professional before plugging it into the mains.
