Description
Charles and Ray Eames designed the Lounge Chair in the 1950s to create an elegant armchair with ultimate comfort. Considered today as one of the great classics of furniture design of the twentieth century, it has since been manufactured by Vitra in a process virtually unchanged. Available in two sizes and in different combinations of leather coverings, wooden shells and legs, the Lounge Chair is ideally complemented by the corresponding Ottoman. Seat and back: plywood, different veneers. Classic version in American cherry (United States) Padding/coating: removable padding units, leather coating. Armrests: leather padding, connected to the seat and back shells by rubber and metal fittings. Pedestrian: five-branch swivel or fixed four-branch footing (Ottoman). Injected aluminum backing and stirrup. Skates: all legs are equipped with hard carpet skates; felt skates for hard floors available as an option. H89x L84x P85 cm. Seat height: 38cm. Exhibit, without certificate or warranty. Natural chocolate leather, Wood: American Cherry, Piètement Poli Side Blacks, new height.
