Inkwell onyx and bronze eagle decoration

Very nice inkwell in onyx and bronze with a sculpture of an eagle with outstretched wings surmounting a sphere that has the initials "va" intertwined. The inkwell rests on four feet in the shape of lion's feet. It dates from the years 1850-1870, napoleon III era. Beautiful veins with shades of color of onyx (onyx a little greener in reality than in photos), fine bronze work. The inkwells are made of faceted glass and are glued. Dimensions: 35.5 X 20.5 X 18.5 cm. Weight of 6.5 kg. Good general condition, small chips along the edges and a lack of an element at the front attested by the presence of two small holes.
