Thonet 1928 Art Deco lounge chair

Lounge chair, 1930 by Eberhard Kraus for Thonet. It has the number a821. Object without a single defect. Stamp and label under the seat. The wickerwork is new (manual with 6 threads) in a catalogue of Thonet-Mundus around 1928/29, the chair a821 is presented with its armchair variant (a821f.) Eberhard Kraus chair has a relatively wide backrest, which is screwed on the elongated hind legs. It is made exclusively with cane seat and backrest. (Of course, it was made for!) total height 81 cm -- width 48 cm -- seat height 39 cm -- seat depth 50 cm. Colour oak under shellac. More pictures and information on request.
