Wooden children's high chair 40/50s

Old-fashioned wooden high chair varnished "miel" dating from the 1940s: decal decoration (original - see detail photo) depicting 2 children playing on the beach by the youth illustrator beatrice mallet (1896 - 1951) This illustrator worked for galeries lafayette, the petit bateau brand, and specialized in children's illustrations. This high chair is convertible: it can be transformed into a mini "office". It has been gently renovated without losing its patina and the traces of time that contribute to its charm: after a thorough cleaning, the original varnish has been revived and unified by the application of a varnish to current standards. The tablet hangs to ensure safety when the child is seated (the blocking system is very simple but can only be operated by the adult). Despite its large age, it is stable (base 46 X 46 cm) and robust. Very good general condition, wear of use related to age, to note in particular the oxidation of the front hinges, the rubber of the original wheels a little hardened, a small hole on the tray (vestige of a small old abacus now gone?).
