Description
Iranian wool kurk carpet, cotton chain, circa 1970. Very good condition. The first works of the meymehbegan began after the second world war, inspired by the carpets. Rare in size, this meymeh on a coral background, consists of the typical 'djangali' motif of djosagans and some kashans. Made up of flowers and stylized trees (djangali), mainly the saule, this meymeh is a fine and authentic example of the fine and authentic work of persian carpets.
