English pot 34 /28.5 Roscate -Couvercle / coves

At first glance one thinks of a Chinese or Japanese earthenware with this elegant blue decoration slightly blurred on the frieze - No it would be an English earthenware 19th "Roscate", as indicated by the stamp on the back - Two splendid circular handles on the sides and lid as well as a rattan, knowing that this piece is very heavy (4 kg) - It is a comforting round object, soft to the eye with these shades of blue a little blurred - A nobility a comfort emerges - The usual state of which is a 13 cm crack on the side (see visuals) but which is not seen very little and does not interfere with its stability (very thick earthenware)- Sold as it is - see photos to be viewed.
