Description
Original string shelf designed in 1949 by Nils Strinning. The system consists of five metal ladders in black with a magazine rack, a floor, two containers and a desk element. The surfaces are veneered in teak. This original string shelf is much better processed and of a better quality than many wall shelves that came on the market in the 50s / 60s. In detail this means: – high quality veneer. – 2 cm thick shelves made of blockboard, which prevent bending. – stable holders on the floors that compensate for slight unevenness. – more stable ladders. Good restored condition with slight signs of usage. Dimensions, as assembled: Width 161 cm. Height 188 cm. Depth 59 cm. Upper containers: w 80 cm, h 16 cm, d 59 cm. Bottom containers: w 80 cm, h 43 cm, d 31 cm. Shelves: w 80 cm, h 2 cm, d 31 cm.
