Description
Magnificent chest of the nineteenth century. Made by a craftsman, in the périgord, around the 1880s, this superb piece of furniture is entirely made of solid oak. The design is rather simple, with a lid that opens and closes thanks to two cast iron hinges. It has some decorative moldings including one that frames the beautiful cast iron lock (the key is no longer present). It rests on 4 feet, the front two of which are turned in the shape of balls. Wood and metal have taken on a magnificent patina over the years. The chest has traces of time that make all its authenticity, but it is healthy. An anti-pest treatment has been passed in prevention. He spent more than a century in a large house in the dordogne, he is now destined to join another house of character where he would be perfect to furnish a majestic entrance, a living room, a bedroom... You will have the assurance of having a piece of furniture rich in history and character, and a beautiful storage volume. Size: Height: 61 cm. Length: 119 cm. Depth: 61 cm. Weight: 50 kg. Delivery possible in france and around the world.
