Old bronze mirror early 19th 38x27cm

Old bronze mirror, early nineteenth. Pretty early nineteenth century mirror in openwork and finely carved bronze. In the pediment of the mirror, there is a shield decorated with a cherub's head surrounded by wings. The entourage is beaded with all around in the openwork frame, a decoration of dolphins and flower rinceaux. The bottom 2 feet, each end with a grotesque head, mouth open. Old mercury mirror, with some slight lack of tain at the bottom left. Height 39 cms, length 27.5 cms, thickness 4 cms. Mirror dimensions: 19 X 24 cms. Good general condition for this beautiful decorative and functional object.
