Vase of Murano Fratelli Toso vintage 60's

This Vase of Murano is excellent, both in its shape and in its colors. It is a design from the 1960s, directed by Fratelli Toso. The colors are green downwards, changing to purple upwards. A fine example of the art of Murano glass that has existed for so long. In perfect condition, 28 centimeters high. Toso was one of murano's glassmakers to revive the famous craft after the occupation of Italy by Napoleon in the nineteenth century. The company moved to Livorno in 1917, only to return to Murano 5 years later. A new generation of Toto brothers stepped in and managed to save the company after the war, but it still went bankrupt in 1981.
