Danish pendant lamp AJ Royal 370 by Arne Jacobsen, Louis Poulsen, 1960

The AJ Royal lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu). AJ Royal has a clean, geometric shape and excellent lighting properties. The semi-spherical housing of the luminaire provides excellent, soft light. The lamp was part of the hotel's overall design concept. Several hotel products have become design icons today, and in the field of lighting, AJ Royal lamps in particular have become world-famous and are in production until today. The lamp is in very good condition, with normal signs of wear in the form of small scratches and bruises. Dimensions: diameter: 37cm height: 18cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 2-meter long braided cable. The cable can be changed to any length and color. Additionally, the headlining is attached to the lamp. Please note that the items we sell are second-hand items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
