Art photography by Gu Jiuwen

Photograph by the Chinese artist gu jiuwen, entitled "single thought" (1999). Original dated and signed print (certificate of authenticity) bearing the number 1/10. Very large format print, under anti-uv glass, 100 X 97 cm. Printed using the "lmbd brillant" process. The Chinese artist gu jiuwen, who leads in parallel an advertising, editorial and artistic career, likes to merge genres, in a perpetual search for reconciliation between painting and photography. Inhabited by his childhood memories of the Mao years, he has produced a series of photographic paintings in which his son, a unique model multiplied to infinity, blends into the iconography and decorations of his own memory. His work was recognized by the bronze prize of the Chinese National Exhibition in 2009.
