Description
Green ceramic service in the shape of a fish. Large serving dish and 8 plates. G425. Note a shine on the mouth on the underside of a plate and a cooking defect on the underside of another plate. A friction with a lack of enamel on the edge of the top of the mouth (may be a manufacturing defect, but I prefer to report it) In 1943 yvon roy created a pottery in durtal and launched his first collections of table art that will soon be a reference. After the accidental death of mr. Roy, the art workshop was taken over by robert de montgolfier. This company is now known all over the world. Its famous square plates, the "kyoto" range are one of the jewels. 73 years later, yvon roy would be proud of what the company has become. Purchased in 2005 by delphine stroesser, montgolfier is still based in durtal. The "living heritage company" label has confirmed the tradition of excellence that has always been the watchword of this workshop. Big dish. Height: 4.3 cm. Width: 26.5 cm. Length: 53.3 cm. Plates. Height: 1 cm. Width: 23.5 cm. Length: 26 cm.
